Account Executive – Commercial Moving/Storage

Washington, DC/MD/NoVA territory


Seeking an experienced outside sales representative to grow and drive business for a premier government & commercial moving company in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia areas.  Looking for an energetic, driven and confident B2B sales person who has experience in selling commercial services and is self-motivated.  This is a base + commission position that will scale to no base as the commission opportunity increases.


Primary Objectives: To grow sales and strengthen market share in the commercial/civilian space (MD/DC/NoVA areas) via cold calling, following up on leads, re-engaging with previous customers, utilizing referral and networking opportunities while representing the company in a professional manner at all times. 


Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Meeting or exceeding specified sales goals (to be mutually developed)
  • Attending meetings and networking events
  • Scheduling calls and appointments daily
  • Control pricing on hourly bids and contracts
  • Manage the complete sales & service cycles – including site visits
  • Marketing the moving services
  • Other duties as assigned



  • 2-3 years of B2B service sales experience (commercial moving, transportation or logistics industry preferred)
  • A valid drivers license
  • Own transportation
  • Background checks (including drug screening) will be performed prior to hire and throughout employment
  • Ability to obtain a 1st level security clearance preferred
